Most people know the Loquat as an evergreen small tree for courtyards or small spaces. Did you know it bears delicious yellowish/orange fruit in late winter which have a tangy sweet pear/plum/peach like taste? Loquats typically bloom late fall early winter and are a great food source for honeybees and other pollinators. Fruits have a fuzzy skin which is normally not eaten with a dark seed on the inside.
