Bald Cypress is one of the South’s splendors. The large, deciduous tree has feathery soft foliage which pairs well with other trees and plants. The beautiful dark cinnamon colored trunk of the tree flares upward. Most think that the cypress only grows in or near ponds and swamps, but it will surprise you by growing well in the home garden.
