Keeping Fit and Trim in the Arboretum

Congratulations are in order for the maintenance crew at the Arboretum.  They are led by Kevin Cassel, Grounds Maintenance Supervisor.  His wonderful staff include Jamie Johnson and Joseph Gallagher, grounds maintenance,  and Jordan Waters, landscape technician.

One of their recent projects was to trim dead branches off the trees in the Woodland Garden area.

The following photos will give you an appreciation of the work they perform for the benefit of the many that visit our beautiful sanctuary.

With the bucket the crew has easy access to the higher parts of the trees.
